Overview:
Portsmouth Water, as part of its ongoing environmental commitments, is offering a grant scheme for environmental improvement projects.
The main aim of the grant scheme is to enhance the habitat network surrounding Portsmouth Water land to create Biological corridors. The fund will cover:

Biodiversity and habitat improvements e.g. re coppicing woodland, wetland creation.

Invasive non-native species control e.g. Himalayan Balsam control to reduce bank erosion.

Species and habitat survey projects e.g. invertebrate survey of grassland.

Equipment to carry out knowledge enhancement.
