Solent Primary School's STEM Fair

Last month we had the opportunity to attend Solent Primary Schools STEM Fair. James and Ellie from the catchment team, along with other employees at Portsmouth Water spent two days teaching over 200 students about the water cycle and how we abstract water from chalk aquifers underground! It was great to see them thinking about and engaging with the sorts of land-use practices that might pollute groundwater and the treatment steps involved so we can make sure clean water comes through the taps in their homes.
