In November 2023 Simon Deacon and James Bucknall attended Horsham Fire Training Centre to provide awareness training to West Sussex Fire & Rescue service. The awareness sessions are to provide information on groundwater risks from fire fighting incidents. The discussion session focused on pollution prevention and spill clean-ups which enabled us to update our safety plans. This also gave us the opportunity to share information on the sensitive groundwater areas within our catchment in order to work together collaboratively to protect our groundwater sources.
